My Personal Story,

Hi, my name is Ann and I’m a recovering compulsive overeater, a recovering alcoholic, an Al-Anon, and an ACOA. I spent years in 12-Step meetings and therapy telling that story. AND I am also the mother of two (now grown) children, who were six and eight when I left a marriage that was dysfunctional; just like the home I’d grown up in. Do you know a family that doesn’t have it’s own form of dysfunction? We were not particularly horrible, just dysfunctional, like every family I knew; all with our own variations on dysfunction, somewhere on the continuum from mild to moderate to outrageous.

Later in life after my mom had passed away, I returned to be with my father in his last years. I was able to heal many of the wounds of growing up in a family with mental illness, and ordinary dysfunction. Hi, my name is Ann, and I’m here to tell you, You Can Heal Your Life, and You Are Never Alone!

I recently published a book as a way to tell my story of hope, insight and optimism. You can order a book by contacting me directly. I'd love to hear from you, please reach out to say hello!

Let's work together on your transformational journey
